Ebay. Once in a blue moon.
Try calling japanese motor suppliers/importers in your area.

Good luck.

The USDM D16A1 was not available in a carbed model.

The JDM carbed ZC exists, but is really hard to find. And Ebay, or engine suppliers
are the only places you'll be able to find one. Unless you luck out, and you run into
a forum classifieds, sourcing this engine is not going to be easy.

If you are not in a hurry, Cpiddy will be selling his JDM carb/manifold after the Fi
swap is complete. This will probably happen in April.

If you need info on carbed ZCs just run a search here, there are two members that
have done the swap. Also in the Hybrid section of the CRX Ricesource there have
been a few carbed ZC threads.

Cpiddy's carbed ZC last summer;

I too have been on the search for the car'b Zc and have come up short. I've also been advised to discontinue my search cus upgrading carbs doesnt like to agree with my ever changing chicago weather. I actually had a question about the Zc though. Which one fits the easiest into the car (86 rex DX)? Because a friend of mine, well versed in his car knowledge told me that the JDM spec ZC (the one with 130 hp?) wont fit, but the D16A1 (118 hp) will. At this point I stared confused at my computer screen cus i didnt know there was a difference. Please help me to rid my self of this ingorance, thanks!

Well, he's not that well versed, at least in his first gen knowledge. The ZC from the 84-87 Civic/CRX will bolt right in. The ZC from the 88-89 Integra will also bolt in, but there are issues with the distributor and CYL sensor. The ZC from the 88-91 Civic/CRX will not bolt in.

Same thing for the D16A1. The 86-87 Integra engine is a bolt in, the 88-89 Integra engine will also bolt in, but it has the same wiring issues as above.
