I won't go into my entire world of problems.

This is the best way to think of it.  What if your child had a terrible disease,

and the only cure was so expensive that it would cost you everything you have

and most likely everything you will ever have.

How many of you would not buy it?  Exactly.

Well my soon to be ex wife is the disease.  I will soon be entering an

across state lines custody battle.  It may go on until fall 2015 when

kindergarten starts.

If I lose, I lose my house, all my stuff, all I'll ever make, and my little baby.

If I win, I lose my house, all my stuff, and all I'll ever make.

I won't be disasembling cars.  So be thinking you are local to take advantage of

this opportunity.  I'm not sure if I am moving in weeks or months.  But I'm moving

very, very soon.  Cars gotta go.

This will be a windfall for people that are local to the Raleigh area.

My little beloved CRX that I bought new when I came back from Ft. Benning as

a young man with hopes and dreams will go to my sister.  Un-fixed up, with a

minimal amount of parts.

I have one nice spare CRX complete, with title, that I can sell whole.

And with enough spare parts/engine/plastics even new parts to make it nice.

And three other parts cars in various shapes of disrepair.

I have a very good condition 85 Si spoiler and a mint perfect red reflective panel

I plan to put for sale soon.  Louvers.  Seats.  A couple mint hoods.  Lots of stuff.

All must go and except for the super rare stuff that is easy to store, cheap.

NOS front lip, Si one, still in wrapper.  Si combo blinker switches.  Numerous near

perfect front corner blinkers.  Keep your eyes open as I go through stuff I will be

posting stuff up.  The stuff that I have in the house I mean.

Sorry to hear that Condor...  I guess it's a little late to post the nomarriage.com link.  :D

I'll be keeping my eye out, as I'm in need of an alternator and intake for an Si and would be interested in some other bits.  Best part is that I'm in Raleigh.

Alternator and intake are so easy.  You need a rebuilt head as well?

Very sorry to hear that.  I had a good friend go through a similar situation that included a custody battle for his little girl.  He came out with the short end of the stick, which was entirely bullshit.  His former wife is F-ing crazy, yet she gets custody, and my friend has to pay her so much money, that she only works 2 days a week.  The divorce laws and logistics in most states are seriously jacked up.  Good luck with your life moving forward and I hope you can land on your feet and get back to your CRX hobby asap.

Road & Track magazine: "When they get around to listing the top good-time inventions of the late 20th century, we're willing to bet that right up there with the hang gliders, ultra lights, sailboards and jet skis you'll find the Honda Civic CRX. And we're willing to bet that the CRX won't be at the bottom of the short list--particularly if the CRX in question is an Si."

I appreciate everybody's concerns.

I am very aware of the game being stacked for the female.  Very much aware.

My former female thinks it is acceptable for the biological father to have 0-2 weeks

of custody per year.

I will be giving my CRX to my sister who has helped me out quite a bit.

There is no doubt I am losing my house and garage and moving to a townhouse style situation.

I will not be returning to my CRX.

I'm 49 with a 3 year old.  I will be chasing my baby the rest of my entire life.

Win or lose running the roads back and forth to Maryland or Virginia or whereever.

Damn that blows.  Why can't people just realize that sometimes things don't work out and be civil about it all?

Also, do you have pics of the louvers?

Just a legal perspective, if you are about to file, you can't dispose of assets.

At least you don't want to get cought disposing of assets.....  You don't want a pissed off judge at your divorce hearing.  Not pretty.

20 months not settled divorce but close.

Another year or up to 14 more years to settle custody.

I've been laying low.

As noted in General, I found a way to keep my CRX, the one that I bought new.

Pretty much all other stuff has to go except some spare parts I need.
