MRI of the brain tomorrow @ 4:30 pm.
This would be a good time to stop the Mercury treatments you have been performing.
Honda, because it's hard to look baller in your mom's Volvo.

several years ago when I was still in high school, my father started to get severe back/spinal problems that 3 or more non affiliated doctors said he would have to have surgery if he ever wanted to be anything near normal again. he was in so much pain he stayed in bed for about two months in agony. rather than get the surgery that would keep him from ever playing soccer again and doing much of anything besides rest, he went to a chiropractor twice a week as well as receiving acupuncture two or more times a week. it was about two weeks until he was back on his feet, and about a month or two before being able to walk without a cane, and a couple months after that he was playing soccer every weekend again as well as interactively training his high school teams.
the biggest part of it, I believe, was the acupuncture;
it works
its not pseudoscience
its been around for 2 thousand or 4 thousand years, depends on who you ask. its been around for a long time, if it didn't work it would have phased out.

I wish to personally thank the individual who invented the PPTD (Personal Precision Tuning Device). Better known simply as "The Remote".
Sorry, honey, it a guy thing. How do you paralyze a man, hide the remote. BTDT
Sarge, hope those Doc's get these issues diagnosed soon. Best wishes, we will keep you in our thoughts.
BTW, don't worry about any stinkin calenders, we'll get them when we get them, if that makes sense. You just take care of yourself, and that IS an order.

MRI results: Cyst @ base of the brain is benign with no operation necessary.
Still have an appointment with a pain specialist tomorrow to find out what's next.

Saw the pain specialist this morning:
I have "significant" arthritis in c3-c7 vertebrae, probably going on for about 20 years. I have 2-3 bulging discs (1 worse than the other 2) and stenosis.
Doc put me on a series of MethylPREDNIsolone for the next 6 days.
I have an appt. on the 20th for a steroid shot.
Evidently nothing I have can be "fixed" with surgery (unless I completely lose mobility), I guess they don't like to mess around the spine unless it's really serious.

right, "fixed." don't plan on working much on liz yourself if you get the surgery, thats about what my father was told. My uncle got the surgery for the same thing, he lives alright just you lose so much mobility. I know I'm headed that way with my history of back injuries and sarge you know I'm not of the typical age for these things.

No surgery planned. Today I got my steroid injection into the base of my neck (where it meets the shoulder). No big deal - and I was worried for nothing. They say it may take until the 2nd or 3rd injection to get real results. I have still been uncomfortable since the last time I checked in and the prednisone is all gone. I get the next injection in about 2-3 weeks. Been popping Aleve, but not working on Liz at all. Been spending my time on the internet shopping for a cheap laptop and stuff for Liz. Waiting for the FedEx guy to deliver my new Personal steering wheel today! Now I need to shop for carpet.
I am hoping to return to work Jan. 7th, but we'll see how I feel. I gotta get out of the house!
Thanks for all the well wishes, can't wait to get back to 100% (if that's possible)

Had 2nd steroid shot on Tuesday - still in pain. I guess this stuff takes a bit to kick in. This round of anesthesia kicked my ass. I was out longer, took longer to come out of it and was sick to my stomach all day and into the next. I need to get back to Liz or she won't be done by spring.

Started feeling better yesterday and continuing to feel better today. Pretty much pain free right now, although I am still resting but not just laying around all day like I have been the last 2 months. Did the things I hadn't done myself in a while like laundry and taking out the trash. Planning on spending time on Liz again starting tomorrow. Bodywork, brakes, shift linkage all need to be done. Still hoping to go to paint before spring.

That's good news! Just take it slow and easy.
I guess you've got a heated work area?
