best thing to do is go to your local junkyard and grab all the needed hardware. trim pieces and brackets.

Just a quick tip-

Honda wired all of their cars for rear speakers even if the car did not come with them. Once you have the plastic covers off reach down into the "crease" between the outer sheet metal and the inner fender, they will be there.

I just noticed your location. Not sure if I have any blue covers (might) but I just tossed a set of those speaker brackets out of my way a few days ago.
Not trying to butt in on your deal Doug, he's just local to me. cool.gif

hey question about the speakers.

i know they take 5 and 1/4 normally. well thats what i have in mine

i have seen people say they put 6 and 1/2's in there

how did they squeeze them in? do they work? whats the deal? if i could put 6 and 1/2s in there

then i could try to move my 5 and 1/4's up front

provided that i can put the 5 and 1/4's up front that is

anyone have any ideas?

thanks

I have 6" or 6.5" in the back of my Straman so yes you can fit bigger one's in there. I have 6" with 20 oz. magnets in my doors on the blue crx with no cutting, I just removed the plastic in the door and my covers are fixed to the door panels.

The brackets I have, no problem. But I looked around and don't seem to have any of the speaker covers unfortunately.

My rear brackets fit 6.5", I'm pretty sure it's the stock size, it went right into the stock holes on the brackets. No modifications at all.
