Ground clearance is erm none existant at just 40mm from the manifold to floor, SOLID suspension. MSA (British Motorsport governing body) regs allow 40mm MIN ride heigh from lower point on car be it hte sump, sill or bumper ...etc.

It has a mk2 D16A9 engine and full custom exhaust manifold and exhaust, not 100% sure of any other work but it feels like a vtec with a distinct change of engine note at ~5.5k... I'm wondering if it has some hot cams in it.

Brakes are brand new on the front, new calipers, new pads and new drilled+grooved discs. Stock drums on the rear, I'm sure they are sufficient to cope with the low weight ~750kg.

Sunroof removed and plated, 6 point 'SafetyDevices' roll cage with re-inforced feet supports and tied to the A pillars.

Coilover suspension front and rear (front torsion arms removed), new CV joints, balls joints and lower control arms running on full Dunlop slicks.

Hope you like it, I'm at Donnington park this evening for a shakedown, I'll post up pics and vids. smile.gif

I also need to get it on a rolling road to see what power it produces, seems pretty strong.

Can you get some pics of the front coilover suspension and all the modification you had to do to make it work.

Wet Donnington on FULL slicks - http://uk.youtube.co...h?v=xTS6sp7gISA

Engine is a bit flat, seems lean, possibly timing.

Suspension hasn't been setup in a while and needs corner weighting as a minimum.

Brakes are running road pads (stock) as we ran out of time, need an upgrade.

So plenty to make it faster, in fact 7-10 seconds a lap faster.

Apologies for the erratic driving, it was a handful, especially in the wet!

Thanks guys.

Brakes a currently a major concern, they are so weak the car doesn't feel like it will stop!

On track that's just a nightmare, really felt uncomfortable going in to corners.

Engine needs timing properly, it runs ok but is VERY hot and limp, doesn't pull hard.

Suspension will be corner weighted very soon, it needs it!

I think the previoud owner let the car go a little. Shame really, but I'll sort it. smile.gif

PS: the wheels are rare Vespa Sebring (RAYS).
