Corner of Hwy 92 and Hwy 35

You can see the parking lot. It's wide open so you can see them coming. Off the freeway so easy on and off. You can go off 84 and head west but the road through Woodside can back up. Heading South down 35(Skyline Drive) is a nice prelude to what's to come.
I have a nice loop spec.ed out. You guys won't be disappointed.

Sounds like fun. My turbo EW makes around 265hp or 225whp and 230 ft. lbs. of torque. I grin ear to ear when I drive it. I hope my post does not upset anyone be cause I talked about my car.

I'm down for another meet....but like I mentioned to you on the ride up, we need to go to Hwy.84/9/17 that's a cool drive. You know 4 corners. Plenty of spots for photo-opps. Plenty of parking. Hamilton was a pita to drive around not to mention the heat. Keep me posted.

Ok, sounds good to me unless anyone objects, Hwy 84/9/17 it is. So now a date, time, and meeting point. I don't really go around that area much so someone closer want to suggest a meeting point? Close to the highway would be good so its easier for people to find.

Hello NorCal! If we want to stick to any date pattern, we did the Saturday before Halloween last year. Thus, October 23rd? Choosing a Saturday may allow some from SoCal to join us. But I know some of us work on Saturdays...

Make it the 23rd. of October. It will give people time to come up. People will be able to drive home the next day if needed and then off to work Monday.
I mapped out the proposed area if people are interested. If there's other options then let's discuss so we can nail down a time, and place.
There are places to camp out here as well, I know some of you did this last year. Best to inquire ahead of time.

We can meet at 4 corners...nice big parking lot middle of everything.
Four Corners is where Hwy 35 and 84 meet.
For a drive we can take any of these nice smooth roads. In the woods or by the coast.

It's been a long time since I last drove through that area. I looked it up on YouTube and saw that some bikers did some video of their rides through that area. Interesting drive through the redwoods. Saw there is a restaurant at Four Corners (Alice's Restaurant) as well that seems to be a popular stop. Redwoods would be good. And I always enjoy a drive along the coastline. So either is good.

Agree that last year's drive wound up being a bit more winding than expected. Still, it to be a good group to drive with. Everybody stayed in control and maintained sensibility with their driving.

sounds good, we can meet there, and just decide on the day of which road to take since there are so many options in the same location.

1:00pm sound good to everyone?

1p is good. The best spot to meet is at Hwy 92 and 35. It is easy on and off for the freeway. We can meet here, open area with parking. Then we can proceed to 35 to 84. Nice drive. Park/rest/talk/meet. Then 84W to a secret spot. Really nice loop.
