In case nobody noticed but SCCA runoffs races start tomorrow. There are 4 1st gen CRX's and 2 3rd gen civics in the H production race.

 Final qualifying is finished:

 3rd - Perry

 4th - Gauper

 8th - Funk

10th - Griffin

11th - Moore

16th - Silegren

Perry in one qualifying session hit 132mph, not sure what kind of draft he had. Race is at 1:30 Florida time on Friday and on live feed on Speedcast TV.

Wow, that's a big field of Peppers! Are they going to stream the races again this year?

Road & Track magazine: "When they get around to listing the top good-time inventions of the late 20th century, we're willing to bet that right up there with the hang gliders, ultra lights, sailboards and jet skis you'll find the Honda Civic CRX. And we're willing to bet that the CRX won't be at the bottom of the short list--particularly if the CRX in question is an Si."

That will take a while to sort out.

You're right, first incident on lap 13 was bad enough but the finish was hilarious.  Glad everyone was okay and no cars were terribly beat up.

I will laugh so hard if that VW takes the official win.  Gotta be one of the first to cross the line in reverse and win!

That was that Yaris' third race and has been wrecked twice. But that certainly was not Isley's fault.

You can't tell from that video, but the CRX was closing the gap between the Yaris and VW really quickly and was trying to shoot the gap and took all three of them out.

Sorry late on the previous response. I think the VW tried to run the CRX high hoping to slow him down and CRX could not avoid the contact.

Not seeing what the CRX was doing, I hope everyone saw the Yaris weaving [blocking].

I'm just basing it off of what I saw and what the CRX driver said when interviewed after the race.

Still nuts and very lucky no one was injured and cars weren't written off.
