Its a resinating (spelling) chamber that is suppose to improve torque. It is stock on 99-01 CR-Vs. I've been told this whole time by almost everyone that the stock B20Z intake would not fit, guess they didn't try. right now I'm working on making a smaller video so it should be updated soon.

Worked on the electrical some this morning. Pulled the ignition switch assembly from the CR-V. Looking into wiring the Harning into the parts of the Civic that I kinda have to keep, combo switch, hazard switch, clock, climate controls, wiper moter, washer pumps. Civic is getting the lit ring around the key too, fits perfect with a little grinding.

Did some more work on the wiring and have done some other things since my last entry. Everything is coming together rather well. On my way back out the garage. Tomorrow I hope to have in the garage team speak, the laptop is being slow with the updates, I hope it can process the wireless network traffic, bluetooth headset and the Team Speak at the same time.

Latest entry can be seen here.

Finished
  • Finished rewiring the heater control harness.
  • Have some of the rear defog wiring in place.
Next to do next
  • Wrap the heater harness.
  • rework the dash harness to support the Civic's Defog switch.
  • Finish painting the front calipers and brackets
  • Put Integra's cruise on control plug on CR-V harness
(can't pull the CR-V's plug from the cable reel if I want to sell it with the air bags)

I've finished the dash harness, and modified the CR-V cluster to work in the Civic's dash with an unmodified hood. Detail are here.

The radio swap thread got me looking for the last part for my Civic sound system..... and I found it. It's from an Accord or Civic and includes the trunk mount and the longer attachment cable. This is exactly what I was looking for because I think the CR-V cable would have been too short to mount the changer in the hatch area. Thinking I may mount it to the bottom of the cargo cover.
