this engine was running in my car untill i jump started it and it started knocking.. i took it out and replaced it without driving with the knock...so i think its salvage able with bearings or rebuild.
(this engine starts and runs with on one turn But had knock..no smoke or overheating)
transmission with no grinds or pop outs
Exceed clutch with 5,000 miles on it. needs trowout bearing.

Needs all the accesories rewired.... the guage cluster, clock, radio, and cigarette light and reverse lights hooked up. I have WORKING headlights and taillights blinkers door chim and interior light alone with working windsheld wipers . i got the new engine in and running with no problems but i am running out of money and patience.. I just want to give it back to redpepperracing..

I have a 1986 civic hatch with a 1987 d16a1, ran by a PG7 and 86-87 crx harness and civic fuse box. I have the car running but none of the dash electrical works.. I have the door chim working, my head lights, interior light, blinkers, wipers. (uncut harness >plug and play<)....I think the fact that im using the civic fuse box inplace of the crx fuse box, that the wiring is alil f'd up. --super low buget--
I do not have a 1986-87 crx si cluster.
I have a 1985 140 mph crx si cluster that i dont know how up wire up so im kinda stuck...
I have a 1986-87 civic si cluster for parts to get my 85 crx cluster working..
I really want to drive my car....

PS: I only swaped the civic wiring for crx wiring cuz it was what i had laying around for a crx swap i was waiting to do .. the civic originaly had a 1989 d16a1 with stock si cluster with vss swap and all .. but due to high mileage and a really bad push start idea (bad mounts all around) I d..estroyed somthing in the engine... sounded like piston slap...so bent rod i guess. I was forced to swap...PICS AND Such coming sooon.
