Anybody know where to find head bolts for our cars? None of the auto part stores in my area can order them and the dealership is out completely. My car is torn apart right now and I need to find some quick

I've reused head bolts on several EW engines now with no failures, so my vote is to reuse them, Dave

But I plan on autocrossing the car, not to mention I kinda drive like im on a race track most of the time. Have they held up to simmilar abuse? Can anyone vouch for this?

Ill second what rallyxcrx said. The EW does not use stretch bolts, so there is no need to replace them. I re-use them every time, never had a problem. Just clean them up real good, and don't forget to put some oil on the threads and your good to go.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll be sure to take lots of pics with this head swap, we need a good documented build thread on an si head swap onto a dx block. Doing my own port and polish as well so that will be in as well
