Laate night install.. fun times getting the Teins on. I accidentally spun the torsion arm bolt all the way off... so need to release some slack so it can reach the thread, woops.

If you guys know a quick way to do that let me know, I think I'm either going to release the torsion arm from the lca, or just loosen the shock from bottom.

Didn't get to work on the car today.. First thing in morning I'm going to fix few issues I found. Thanks csp!  Was hoping that's all I have to do.

Going to see how this suspension feels tomorrow, I don't expect much as the rest of the bushings etc are original, and alignment I'm sure is f'd.. But Just from moving it around it feels super solid now. Different car for sure..

Thank you!!  I'm still taking it in that the outside is finally "done"..  proud moments ha.

I drove this car to the gas station and instantly had 2 people want to talk about it..which is crazy as back in the day honda drivers would be looked down on. at least we were bullied. Seems to be more of a acceptance these days which is great.  But the OEM subtle appearance does help..

For updates I've successfully indexed my passenger side torsion bar.. I have soo much room to go lower now with plenty of threads to use.

I'll post pics of the process on my driver side..the "hard side due to the oil pan in the way".. Seems people are confused with the indexing, so I'll post up my beginner process step by step to help out the next person.

It is so funny the response these cars get now.  We drove our 85 CRX to HomeDepot and had at least 4 different people comment on the car.

torsion bar indexing really is one of those things that sounds mysterious and complex.  Then when you realize what is really required to do it and actually do one your like why didn’t I do that long ago!

Very thankful to Marcus at healtoe making a video how to do the torsion bars.. Just got my 27mm bars in soo have to do it all over again soon.

Suspension/engine will now come out once I get my garage sorted.. the old ew did its last drive. At least in this car. Refresh time and received my K series mounts!

Oh and moved to Arkansas.. New house on 3 acres, privacy to do car stuff!

Man those mounts look familiar!  Spent so many hours looking at them!

they are making axles right now for the swap as well.  They are off at heat treating.

Awesome news! I'll be ordering a set once they are available.. I might drag this car a few times, maybe I need something stronger?

Plan is a k24a with skunk stage 3's ( not the ultras) valvetrain of course, k20 oil pump tuned on e85. 11sec pass then done with drag strip ha.

Should have no trouble with that goal with the right tire.

Car is beautiful! I just picked up an 87 CRX Si myself.

Where did you get that front lip? Looks bigger than the OEM one. Maybe it's just the angle.

CRX and Civic bumpers are different as is the lip.
