Lots of talk about the upcoming election... but are you actually going to get off your @ss and vote?

I have already voted, I get a vote-by-mail ballot every election and I get it in early. I voted for the the young guy (if he gets elected this will be the first time that I am older than the President!).

So what about you? Are you REALLY going to vote or are you just jerking us off?

Im 20 years old and whenever voting comes up I get a lot of shit because I'm not registered. I have an incredibly busy life as a junior in college, double major. I do not feel nearly well enough informed to make a responsible choice, so I respectfully abstain.

P-Tail, don't feel bad. I couldn't vote until I was 29, I would have loved to have voted in the last 3 elections, plus various others, but i couldn't. But thats just me. I was able to vote today, so I did.

I can't believe scott is older than McCain. wait a sec, Yes I can. Geez scott.

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

I will be voting bunches.
Several times in several states.
I really needed some walking around money.

I'll be voting for sure; I finally got around to registering a few weeks ago. This will be my first election since I moved back to Virginia. I like that the polls open at 0600, so I can swing by and do my civic duty on the way to work.

Virginia doesn't do early voting, only absentee. Next time around I plan to be on "vacation".

I get it. You are busy. So busy you can not take five minutes to register, another five minutes to send in an absentee ballot and absolutely no time to PAY ATTENTION to what is going on in the world.

Buzz!! Excuse not accepted.

This is LIFE we are talking about. Every vote counts. Even the Ron Paul votes. Hell, if I had known that Zakats was running on the Rusted Honda Ticket, I would have voted for him.

Please try a little harder the next time.

Exactly, every vote counts. Every responsible vote, and every irresponsible vote. How can the state deem that everyone of voting age will make a responsible vote and those not of age can't? Although I'm old enough to vote, I'm simply not in a place to make a responsible vote, so whats the problem?

watching one debate would do enough to bring you up to speed, look into it... not trying to nag or pressure you but if you have a few minutes you might as well. this is probably the most important thing happening in the world right now.
