I have 1987 Honda Civic Wagon 2WD with some horrible looking headlights. So my question is are 3G Civic from 86-87 Headlight Assembly interchangeable between Civic Hatch, Sedan, and Wagon??? I think I remember reading it in a post somewhere that they are interchangeable, but can't find it now.

A quick answer would be awesome.

Thanks

I can say this much...have an '86 Civic Hatch Si that had cracked headlight glass and I found that the glass was the same for hatch or wagon but the metal mounts are specific for each car. I purchased two headlight assemblies from a wagon at a salvage yard and removed the glass and installed it onto my existing brackets and they are working fine. You can see this if you compare the two vehicle parts numbers/diagrams at an online dealer website.

Geez its right, of you keep the metal surrounding hardware, & just replace the lamp portion, you will new good to go. I've had to do out before on a sedan & a wagon I owned.

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.
