LagginWagon, there are far simpler versions of re-indexing on here. There was a really simple "one notch" write-up after I posted my ramblings here. My numbers are pretty accurate (real accurate), but unless you are looking for infinite adjustability, (no one is) the one notch version is best. "2 or 3" notches on a DD will cause lots of grief. LOTS. My car is a dirt track only, left turn only, beat up turd that has a completely different suspension on one side than the other, so don't listen to me. My ramblings above work for me because I want to be able to find "the sweet spot" in the middle of "OK" and I can adjust both directions on both sides to compensate for infinite track variables at the 5 tracks I can run at. It's pretty cool to turn the adjusters to fit the track and how it progresses through the night (wet/sticky-dry slick).

SO! Keep looking. There is a simpler, less confusing version of re-indexing, but unless you want to bang around on the bumpstops, don't go more than one notch. Just trying to save you some headache and confusion since I seem to be (no, I am) the only 1G dirt track racer around and found some usefulness in Jethro's guide....

It seems there is a trend in rusted/seized front TB's but I live in the south and am apparently lucky. If you are very far north, you may not be as fortunate. Anyway, don't let my tedious bullshit ramblings bother you. My version requires too much thought (and math) anyway. I can hunt the simpler version for you tomorrow if you need.

DirtCircle86 if you can find that 1 notch re indexing write up that would be awesome, because your post is the only decent one I have been able to find so far.
