as stated in many threads, all you need is an si fuel pickup.

You can just use the Si pickup, But I hope your not expecting that to be an easy swap.
It runs! Carb to Megasquirt EFI.

i didnt either. Ive still got the stock DX pickup in there. What you will need to do though is get a larger in car fuel line for the high pressure side. The return line can stay the same...

wow, have you guys done the B swap? you do not HAVE to change to a SI pickup or bigger in car lines. you can if it makes you feel better about yourself but you do not have to. i have been using HF lines and pickup with not one problem in a year and a half and over 14,000 miles with my B18B1 setup. and dont think it's because the car is babied because it deffinitely isnt, theres a few members on here that can vouch for that.

i dont even think im going to have to change pickup or lines when i turbo this setup.

im not tryin to argue here, but i did my swap on an hf. in the end i used an si pickup. not sure if thats how it is in all ocassions, the stock pickup could of had a hole in it or something, but for some reason with the stock fuel pickup i didnt get hardly any fuel pressure, with the si pickup it was fine.

i just say upgrade the fuel lines and get the si pickup because honda had it on there for a reason. it may not be the most important thing, but i just like to do things right the first time.

yeah i used integra fuel lines in my hatch cause the old carbed lines didnt have proper fittings on them.. the d16a1 fuel pump runs at about 43 PSI i think.. i wasnt gonna do a half ass job on the fuel lines so i used the proper ones..

so what did you do to get a fitting and flange on there? the carbed fueal lines are tiny as hell...

i used 2 hose clamps on each connector. like i said a year and a half and over 14,000 miles with not one problem

the MSD pump i used called for a rubber hose and a hose clamp on it so it must be good for the rest of the system. the pump is rated at 125 psi max
