Aw nooooooooooooo!!!

I have an '07 Si Sedan and I constantly fear that something stupid will happen to my car. Every motorist on the highwayy is trying to kill me and ruin my car. Evvery bird is looking to shit on my paint. Every grocery cart at the supermarket is trying to gouge my paint.

I can not sleep at night.

dude that sucks, atleast the new civic have a short front end compaired to the old ones.

What color is it? i know both reds and the blue are expensive to have repainted.

sorry about the car. I know I'd be sick if mine got torn up.

the short front end has its drawbacks. have you seen how much of a pain in the ass it would be to change the spark plugs in an 06-07 Si? I doubt the coil packs would clear the plug bores with the motor mounts bolted in. the plugs are under the edge of the windshield cowl, with a cover over them that has bolts almost at the back of the valve cover. I'd rather get poked in the eye then have to change those plugs. it reminds me of the camaro/trans am with half the motor shoe horned under the dash.

thatnks guys. yeah lots of jokes at work going around. yeah even thought of taking the car an takeng the engine out an swaping it. i jsut turned it 17k. thats since owning it since nov 06.

i dotn drive it much.

yeah i lucked on the area hit. it hit the front of the front. so no damage to the engine or suspention or window. if i had parked like your to park it would have hit did center on the hood an window. taking out the engine an dash also..

look at it this way though its a car an becuae of my incerence if its a right off i get a new 08 one as a new one!!

Yes i know how "kinda" hard it is to work on the new Si's. in all truth it isnt that bad, the plastic just below the windsheild comes out and opens the engine bay up alot.

As for coils and such, try doing an Oil change on one and tell me how hard it is.

find out if its a write off and see how much ICBC will sell it back to you for.

I may be interested in the drivetrain and interior for my civic

you may already know this, but keep in mind that with the drive by wire and a non supported ECU, you will have to backdate to a 2002-2004 k20a2 or k20a k-pro modded ECU and throttle body. between the 2, expect it to be about $1200-1500.

shoot, if you have the whole car no need to loose the drive-by-wire unless you don't like it. you have the harness and everything to convert. smile.gif I would love to do an OBD-II K swap, but me too broke to fund that...

Still sucks to loose a car if your attached to it though.
