because i'm constandly over here for info about my '85 crx i thought.. let's introduce myself

i'm drakos and my newest ride is a "85 crx

i'm the second owner and the car has done around 75k miles (121xxx km)
it's in remarkable good (almost showroom) condition and never been tempered with.

my priority for now is to fix the minor rust problem's and get it street legal (been of the road for 2 years),
( right wheel arch and the rocker have some rust damage and also the're a few small hole's in the botom),

after that's done it will get some drastical suspension upgrades and lowering and a full wire tuck..
because the outside is in good condition and i'm loving the retro appearance that will remain completly oem.

some picture's (a bit crappy couse the're taken with my phone);

That is a nice find. What caught my attention, apart from the brillant condition, is that the rear seat belts are lap/sash. Earlier ones had only lap belts, which means we in Australia have to remove the rear seats and belts when reregistering.

thanx for the reply's

the seats didn't get to me at first, but they kind off grow on you and fit the retro appearance off the car perfectly :wub:

@ phenams ; as soon as i get the car back from the welder the sunroof will be replaced, i'll take some pic's of the headliner in the progress .

@ anjin; the rear seat only got the lap belts, what you are seeing on the pic's are just the front seatbelt's i guess

some pic's of the recent progress;

a 3g arch made to fitt :D

only the last bit of welding is required on the rocker to get it rustfree and get it to pass it's safety inspection :D
hopefully early next week it's finaly ready to go on the road once again :wub:

Have any more pictures of the rear seats? I've never seen them before. Also interesting you guys have flush mounted headlights in 85. We didnt get that in north america until 86.

Love the seats to.
