I want to buy a Fuel injected ZC and make it carbed. I have been told that this can be done but how? whats needed and involved?  Also what car would I have to get the carb for it off of?  Thank you     smile.gif
If anyone can tell me somting better than a Weberized ZC I have yet to hear it!

Ever thought of using Motorcycle carburators.  Something off a GSXR1100 or similar would work pretty good. It would also look amazing.   Although you  will need some experience to set up the jetting and make an intake manifold.  Good project if you really want to learn about carburation.  FI is the way to stay if you want relibility and driveability.  Try enlarging the throttle body and matching the manifold.    You will probably have to toss the computer and go with an aftermarket igntion also.  any other questions?????

Sorry about the disgruntled happy face.  I guess thats what happens if you put a couple of question marks together. biggrin.gif

I knew that but in which case why wouldn't he just look for the complete carbed motor, it'd be a LOT easier to find than an itake manifold and carb!  Plus, who would choose to have a Honda carb anyway, there's no tunability! <- if that's a word!

I agree thats why I changed mine to FI.  But I hear you can get a Dual Webber setup for them Those are very tuneable and very evpensive    :0

Agreed on your points, mangled, now my dilemma is to go turbo, or all-motor...

Hmmmmmm.......are you sure there is no Teg carb?  I'm sure I can find an intake manifold that will fit and carb.  If I can find a carbed ZC great! But if not I'll find parts and make it work.  I don't want to go Fuel Injected because it requires to much work and money.  Eventually I may go Fuel Injected but not for now.  Also what price do you think I can get a ZC with tranny for?   By Friday I'll have around 500 bucks and I'm hopeing that will get me the motor and the tranny.  I wanna get started ASAP but I need some time and money.

I think I can do quite a bit with a carb.   And personally don't think that a carb is that bad....it's just another way of mixing the air and fuel or whatever.  Besides I don't have an ECU biggrin.gif   .   I guess carbed is the easier way to go so thats what I'm doing.  Also are you  guys sure there is no carbed teg?
