my car is for sale... it's an 85 civic dx hatch with a d16a1 swap. it has an 88 teg engine, trans, front and rear suspension, 4 wheel discs.wiring, ecu, fuel system.
very fast+reliable... all the car will need is air care and a battery(i'm keeping the battery thats in it)... i am having a baby in december and don't have the time to fix something that is no longer practical to haul a family around in... the car is throwing a code for the O2 sensor and won't pass the idle test at aircare... all other aircare numbers are low, except idle test... the insurance is up on the 8th of sept. ... i just don't have time for it anymore, TIME FOR ME TO GROW UP, before i kill myself in this thing....

here is a list of all the work and parts that are on the car:
EXTERIOR
front bumper extensivly modified with crx 3pce front lip
hood pins/hatch latches
dual functional 300zx hood scoops
tinted windows, all around
99civic sedan sideskirts, modified
rear bumper extensively modified w/diffuser
EDM civic hatch spoiler MINT and RARE
color is a red/burgundy with a flat black hood roof and hatch(chalkboard paint)
ENGINE:
88 teg d16a1 eng, trans, ecu, wiring and fuel system
K&N short ram intake and filter
eurathane eng+trans mounts/88 teg
engine has about 300,000kms
trans has about 250,000kms
chassis has about 400,000kms
INTERIOR:
88teg seats up front
rear seat is a ratty blue thing, but it's all there
interior was originally gutted for racing/lightweight
88teg guage cluster
SUSPENSION:
88 teg front and rear suspension with internal rear sway bar
monroe shocks (6 months)
energy suspension bushings, red(6 months)
eibach rear coils, cut slightly
wagovan rt4 torsion bars reindexed 2splines
resplined torque tubes
custom made adjustible panhard bar
strut mounts(6months)
rear tires(6months) front are really good too
acura wheels,missing a center cap(good shape otherwise)
all new ball joints and tie rod ends, SPICER(6months)
the clutch is a centerforce dual friction(6months)
machined flywheel(6months)
new release bearing(6months)
new rear main seal(6months)
cv shafts 1 yr
alternator(6months)
starter 1 yr

the car has lots of good and new parts, the body is in really good shape for its age
the floor has 2 minor rust holes, other than that the car is really SOLID along with the most crucial part(the panhard rod mount)...
i'm sure there are lots of extra parts i can round up for it too, i also forgot a few things as i have spent a lot of time building this car over the past 3 years...
i'm the 3rd owner and the 2 previous to me were chicks....
I have MORE than $2000 dollars in parts into this car in the past year, and countless hours of hunting for DESIREBLE BUDGET PARTS.

i am still driving the car daily and it runs strong and has NEVER let me down, it always starts and can beat mustangs, even with 300,000kms on it....
if you live in abbotsford you can drive it away right now(no AIRCARE)...
all you need is a battery cause i'm keeping the optima blue top(SORRY)...

the car isn't perfect but it's always fun, and still gets a lot of looks from everyone but the cops(strange).....

i am asking $850 firm
feel free to pm me or email me and i will try to get back asap... as i'm in the process of buying my new family car and moving and the having a baby (soon).....
i have been as upfront and straight with you on what this vehicle is and needs as i possible can...
i really would like to keep it and turn it into a race car with a cage and a rebuilt engine, but as i said, i'm about to be a daddy and i'm no longer first.

i will not ship the car or deal with anyone who doesn't want to come see for themselves, i prefer a local buyer pls....
huh.gif

i bet you i forgot a few things...

Is that $850 CAD?

Dude, no disrespect but....you're either:
1) ASKING $850 (which would likely open the door for lower offers); OR
2) $850 FIRM (meaning THAT IS the price, period).
Saying "Asking" and "firm" in the same sentence is a bit of an oxymoron blink.gif

"Please", "I appreciate it", "thank you very much", "I'm sorry"= common courtesy....what a great concept (ESPECIALLY for business)!!
