EDIT: Typo on the title, its suppose to say G1 CRX instead of G2 CRX.

http://www.ericksrac...om/projects.htm

Its the very first and top car on that page. I also saw it in Performance Audio and Sound Magazine. The article was towards the very back of the magazine. However the car was green instead of white thats in the car. Its prabably not updated yet or something I don't know.

I tried to find it on their website, but with no luck??? Maybe someone is slicker than me can find it.

But it has a B18C1 motor that was fully built for drag racing. I guess the G1 CRX is getting attention after all. I just hope it doesn't go as having the demand go up to a point where replacement parts for us skyrockets or make it harder for us to find parts.

I think erik's racing is awesome I mean he was the first guy into the nines in an all motor and it was with a coupe. I read an article with a guy from honda tuning interviewing him and the guy is really friggin smart. Obviously but I mean I say that he was going to a 1g crx and it made me want to make out with him biggrin.gif No but he seems like a really cool guy. WOuld have to be to be sportin a 1g.

he already ran the car he ran 10.1 or so its a gsr b18c1 at around 300-350whp. he says he likes the civic better. the longer the car is the better it will hook. seems weird here ill explain myself. why do people put traction bars on their fwd car? you done thinking. its because if its longer they would stick better but how do we know that this is true? well because when you have a FWD drag car with traction bar and slick damn good driving ull hit a 1.7 or so 60foot. with a wheelie bar it cuts it to 1.5 or so. do you guys know who bisi is he has done a 9sec pass also on a single cam f-series hes at 350-360whp he has never done 9 sec at an event yet almost but the problem is he is having traction problem if he hook he can easily get a 9. he drives a 2nd gen crx.

He's using a B18c1 motor like in his other cars, although I already mentioned that in the original post.

Traction bars are basically for traction. Its there to keep the front wheel splanted because all the weight transfer goes to the rear when you accelerate hard.

That guy mentioned who was running the f22 is using all motor as in no electronic fuel injection stuff. He is running dual webers. He was going to build one of those motors for a guy I know actually the guy that has been taking forever on my car. He said he has about between eight and ten g's into one of the motors not to bad considering how much a fully built turbo b-series would be.

Bisi is a chemist and if you read his articles and interviews ,it mentions why he would never go fuel injected. For fuel injection to atomize fuel as well as a carb(Webbers) ,it would need the injectors to be something like 16 inches away from the intake port.(probably wrong with the exact distance but it was something rediculous like that) It's great though having knowledgable guys like that doing that kind of testing and research on these engines and going as fast as they are.(Nice knowing a sohc motor can go that good) He was also running a stock ignition coil while revving to 9000 rpm!
