I was surprised to see a silver '84-85 Civic DX hatchback this morning. It was all stock and puttering along nicely. It was rust-free......must not have lived in the midwest very long.

some production numbers for the CRX in U.S.

CRX, CRX HF:
1984 - 48,445
1985 - 57,152
1986 - 64, 106
1987 - 48,355

CRX SI:
1985 - 19,763
1986 - 23,637
1987 - 17,652

that's roughly 220,000 DX/HF and 60,000 SIs produced.
and I bet about 90% of them have 'returned' to earth...

Recyling is not the answer. Using less to begin with is.

1 - 1 clean CRX that looked the way mine used to look

2 - 1 intact Wagovan parked in front of Walmart with a flat tire and an Austin 3:16 tag on it

3 - Middle Georgia...parts are like bird's teeth, getting hard to find
Laugh if you want, it runs
