I have had one on my blue crx for about 8 years and am happy with it, it has a good sound to it.

I pesonally dont like them.
They are expensier, too loud and restrictive at the same time.
I like Dynomax better. People says Magnaflow is good too.

I know of a good shop in Alameda that does good work on mufflers if you're interested. I think they have both Flowmasters and Magnaflow's.

The one on my blue car is deep sounding and not loud unless you really get in the gas. Mine does not seem restrictive and does not sound ricey. smile.gif

the reason they have that loud sound is from the restriction in the muffler and how they are designed to rebound the exhaust gas. magnaflow makes a nice straightthrough design.

yea my friend just installed a magnaflow exhaust system on his car (rsx type-s). it had a pretty good tone, somewhat deep, not real whiny.

flowmaster 40's sound good on the crx. trust me, i crank up the si parts car today and had some fun (see post whore thread later) not ricey at all. if you think its too loud then i must be deaf because we are running no cat or resonator.

I have allways gotn the best results from the JMCO or Magnaflow that is the cheaper flowmaster knock off. Less restrictive, def not ricey sounding and very smooth sound and performance all the way through the RPM band.
I have the JMCO full header back exhaust right now and its very nice to meh! smile.gif
