I have a D13A2 (EV1) and a D15A2 (EW1), I want to know if the valves are the same size, as in, can I take a valve out of my D15A2 and put it into my D13A2?

I will be tearing both engines apart tomorrow and I just bought a valve spring compressor, which is why I am wondering. My D15 is dead on two cylinders (#s 3 - 65PSI - and 4 - 75PSI), the other cylinders fire just fine, so I know at least some of the D15 valves are good (my bet is the rings are a bit screwed up in 3 and 4). The D13 would run on all cylinders, but it has a bent valve. So I would like to swap a valve from my D15 to my D13. Is it possible? Will it seat correctly?

The easiest way would be to check part numbers between the two.

1.5L

14721-PE0-000 008 004 VALVE, EX.

14711-PE0-000 007 008 VALVE, IN.

1.3L

14711-PE0-660 007 004 VALVE, IN.

So that looks like a no. So lets have a look at what cars the 1.5L fits.

So the answer is no.

Any idea where I can get a cheap valve then? My local parts stores will charge me anywhere from 20 to 40 bucks for a single valve which is just absurd.

You cant seem to get them from Honda anymore, but I bet you could find quite a few people here that are willing to sell you a couple if your having an issue with only one or two.

What exactly are the dimensions for?? And what's with only giving my the intake valve for the 1.3? As of now, this information doesn't prove sh*t. Information on dimensions are completely useless without specifying the measured area(s).

It does prove everything tard, don't argue. Those are part numbers and image numbers. IF you have every looked at Majestic Honda, or Honda Parts Now, you would know that. Don't argue when you can even open google and do a simple search. Part numbers don't match, therefore, they aren't interchangeable.

Oh an the reason there isn't 1.3l exhaust valve part number, is because Honda doesn't even list them any more in their online site ;)
