uh its not like he has a choice! being in the military myself i resent what you say, however, you have the right to say it! i am proud to serve my country and provide you that right. but please dont bash on us doing so.....and thanks for making him feel like shit and saying that serving his country is a bad thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay see it from the other point of view: You live in Bagdag with your mother and your little brother. Your dad has been killed by the US when they INVADED Iraq. Of course you will not be happy. Spin it around: You live in the US like you do right now and it is invaded by another country then most of the soldiers (not you) and politicians except Mr. Bush he is inprisoned and awaiting trial against all the countrys he has invaded. Meanwhile you are sent to gauntanamo and you stay there for 2 years. Beaten up, naked being tourtorised. Think about it. What if that was to happen? Remember all politics aside it is the invaders that are the attacking force.

i never said that what the U.S. is doing is right or wrong. what i was saying is to stop putting him down because he has ORDERS to go and didnt necasarily(spelling) choose go.

and on the "flip side"; call me ignorant, but we(the U.S.) have not been invaded and if we ever were we would kick the shit out of whoever tried!

Let's put it this way, fellers. I'm always up for a political bedlam bruhaha. BUT THIS AIN'T THE F'N THREAD.

No matter WHAT end o'the political spectrum you're on, I think we can all agree that we wish 1stGenRex, LCpl. Ayonn, only the best of luck and fortune as he goes abroad. His reasons for signing on the line and going are his own, and it's none of our business to say why what he's doing is good or bad. Only to say good luck, brother 1st genner, and BE SAFE.
