Recyling is not the answer. Using less to begin with is.

yeah i heard about this last year too but i never saw any pictures...

they need to fix the way the rear looks from the side... looks like crap... if it was more square like the original i don't think people would mind it looking a bit retro...not everything has to be round...

At least the first mod to this car won't be a fart can if some kid buys one of these... hahaha

i think it looks rather ferocious good looking car from the front... and i like the whole idea of being in a jet, or so they say that's the feeling... check out the side mirrors hahahaha

im in transportation design here in cincinatti and honda sponsored a junior design project last quarter (im a pre-junior so i wasnt part of that) but my friend did a "crx" inspired concept... when honda came to look at their designs, before making their models, they looked at his design and they started laughing, and he asked why they were laughing...honda R&D designers response was "heh, thats funny, you should be on the lookout for that soon, i think you will like it"

that gets me excited since his design was pretty edgy and aggressive and they responded to it as a crx...so hopefully we will get something sporty and not all "hippie tree hugger" (though i do enjoy the insight)

just have the 87 1G crx and an f150 now...womp womp

Well, nine out to 10 chances are it will either have a K series. Other than that, it could be a new engine series all together or even the same type in the FIT. Then again, the 3g (excluding the del slow) has been in concept for the past 11 years and was rumored to be launced in the US by 2007...

im not really looking forward to it if it's going to look like that...
the front looks like someone knocked all its teeth out.

at least when/if they revive the CRX name, i think it'll have some positive effect on the value of the old ones..., i hope...

Is there any way you could post a pic of the design your friend came up with??

i can link his portfolio, since thats the only way i can ethically post it...its his intellectual property...thats a very big thing in the design world...

http://www.uc.edu/pr...n_Andrew_09.pdf

NOW YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND, these sketches of his are from probably a year ago, after that, he did a painted clay model and had new sketches...this was before he worked at hasbro...basicly this was his first transportation studio...his design got a lot more refined, but the last sets of sketches, especially the side profile on page 6 is the closest to how his model turned out, THOUGH he went a slightly different direction with the design than this...honda responded to these concepts...so take it or leave it, but thats what honda responded to

wow those look very similar to the concept car they made... and the modifications i was thinking of were right there in the sketches... CRX fans should be the judge of what the car should have or look like... not some over payed guy in a suit...

yah, but honestly, we shouldnt worry about honda, i think with something like the crx its going to be a very good design, all we have now is concepts and those change a drastic amount...they arent going to have a flop crx after what happened with the delsol...so i think it will be an edgier version of the concept htey have now...
