Zumo

I bought this car about a year ago and have slowly been gathering parts. It starts but wont's stay running or runs at high 3000 rpm and fuel is just not pressuring right. I also think the electric choke dead, either way I am going to convert to Weber Carb. It has the normal bumps and bruises for these little guys but I have a few parts for repair.

I have an 86 crx dx that would start but idle at 4k so I shut it off every time. Now it just won't start unless I use carb cleaner. Fuel window shows half full.

I pulled the cut off solenoid off and checked with the test method from the manual it and it didn't retract. I turned on the ignition and poked a test light between each wire on the solenoid and no light. I pulled the fuse in the fuse box and checked it with the test light and it worked. So I guess it's either a bad solenoid or the wiring is screwed up somewhere between there and the fuse box .
