Before:

This was after i owned the car for about a year. I was involved in a rear-end collision and had done numerous other stupid things to trash the car. The tranny was also on its way out at this point.

There are 3 goals when modding a car.
Cheap, Reliable, and Fast.
Now the down side. You only get to pick 2...

Fact: A recent study shows that 92% of all teenagers have turned Emo.

Put this in your sig if you're one of the 8% who stayed gangster as $h!t.

Im a sucker for symmetry, thus the exhaust.

Car was $850 with a bad alternator drug out of a farmer's field. For the rest, check it out in the garage.

thanks for the compliments,

I love progress updates!

I also admire you doing the work yourself, that is commendable.

Slap a coat of black on the header panel, even if the car is beat, the uniformity of colour will fool anyone!

yup, and i wouldnt have it any other way.

As soon as i fix the oil leak the car is mechanically sound.

All that's really left on the body is to finish the bondo/fiberglass on the passenger side and sand down the fiberglass on the driver's side. Then it's just minor stuff before paint.

it looks better in the pictures than it really is, but it isnt too bad and i was suprised with the quality myself (especially since it was my first time trying it). I didnt really want to rattlecan it but it looked so trashy before that anything was an improvement.

Rattlecan looks great if you do it right:

(and don't look at it too closely tongue.gif )
