would i have to swap the loom and computer over?

The computer would probably be a good idea, the wiring harness you shouldn't need to, unless you don't want to do what I did, and instead replace the whole harness.

Conversion complete biggrin.gif
Didn’t have much hassle at all..
I bought another crx for $10 that was fucked and used parts off it. If it wasn’t for that crx the conversion would not be complete because:

A. i would of had to buy a new clutch leaving me with insufficient funds for oil/gearbox oil/oil filter/spark plugs and other little things.
B. i broke the bolt on the cam cover and used the one off this car
C. the ECU got wet a broke in my crx so i used the one of out the crap crx
D. I’m using the sunroof off it that has NO rust biggrin.gif

We used the manual gearbox off jonno2002's blue civic but didn't use the clutch because it was pretty much dead.

We took the engine out of the green crx i bought for $10, took the clutch off and put it in my crx. Its just sitting there now along with the blue, waiting to be dumped so if any of you guys acutally want something off these 2 cars pm me and we can arrange shipping it over tongue.gif

(Blue Civic)

($10 green crx)

($100 box of goodies)

(the traditional engine out pic)

ill put more pics up later

Let see...that's $251.56 in US dollars. Wow! You are a lucky man.

I shouldn't let this item go, but, I have a MINT analog CRX gauge cluster that would look really cool in your car. Let me know if you want to swap gauge clusters. (I'll pay the shipping)

well who says you cant do a auto-to-manual conversion in 2 days, in fact it only took us 2 days cause we had to wait on a clutch.

the green crx is a 1983 with an ew5 engine in it, one interesting thing about the ew5 is the 5th injector, i had never seen one like it before. sadly the ew5 has a suspected cracked head cause water comes out of the 3rd sparkplug hole. also the ew5 gearbox had a stuffed 2nd gear synchro so it was basically only good for the clutch and ecu, but it only cost $15 nzd

from the blue civic we used the gearbox, shift linkages, throttle cable, clutch cable and foot pedals.

the ecu in the red crx was water damaged so we were lucky to have the green crx ecu because the ecu from my civic sedan although worked fine it brought up error codes so was obviously the wrong ecu for the engine.

and to myheadhertz he already has an analogue and digital guage cluster
