It's not an HF, they didn't sell them as HF's in '84, just CRX 1300's. As for the extra mirror on the passenger side, I believe you could get it as an option on the 1300's. Or it could have been added by someone. I did it for my friends before I bought it from him.
All the 1300's and HF's I've ever seen have had the plastic valve cover. I've never seen one on a DX, only the stamped steel one.
Also there was no badge on the one I had or the one that is in a salvage yard near me that I know is a 1300.

If you love the Elise, drive a Se7en - Caterham or whatever...
It has even less content than the Elise, is less graceful looking
...and changes direction like a ping pong ball whacked by Thor.

I've got an 85..I read that the DX of that year had no badge, it just said 'Honda' 'Civic' and 'CRX' in the center, between the tails. The DX also had the spoiler, and the passenger side mirror. DX also had 13" wheels and the Prelude wheel covers. DX was 1.5l carb'd, EW2, good for about 70-some-odd horsepower.

The DX did not have Prelude wheel covers. They looked similar, but were different.
