Found an 89 integra 2 door hatch in a junk yard a few hours from me.  Ran down today and got the entire rear axle, e brake cables and prop valve.

these things are getting more and more rare to find.

Nice find! I've probably junked so many parts that now are actually worth something, it would make you cry.

So true!

I remember back before HASport was what it is today it was a Honda parts yard.  You could go and find any part you needed.  Days are long gone.

when I found this I had to jump on it.  Scott would not support this! LOL

Stripped the axle down today to get the parts I need. We am going to talk to fast brakes to see if there is a way to put some lite weight wilwood calipers on it.  Also trying to find a lite weight two piece rotor.  Doesn’t seem to exist for the rear as these are not vained.

Brian Hasty, owner of FastBrakes, has everything from the disk swap to see if there is anything that can be used to lighten things up.

Coincidentally I was exploring brakes yesterday because theres a post on RPR FB about the combination of the S2000 caliper with the 03 Renault Clio 2.0l 11 in rotor. A user who has done the conversion describes the improvement as being impressive wrt an Integra setup.

From what I saw on the FastBrakes site, they offer their own 11 in rotor combined with a Wilwood Dynalite caliper. Id think this should be at least as good as the 11 / S2000 setup in braking force, but hopefully with a reduction in unsprung weight.

Their 11 in kit is what I run on the front of my car.  It’s a lot of brake force for sure!
