Wasup all,

As I was banging the gears today, I noticed that it started slipping into gear as if the clutch is warn or getting hot. I have the Centerforce stage 1 and it was put in about 3 months ago. It has been biting pretty hard every since. Even earlier today, it was acting normal. So thinking that it would get better after it has had time to cool, I chilled out (took the G-Tech down and kept my composure). It didn't. I was thinking that my clutch cable could be stretched. Could this be the prob? It has never been changed to my knowledge. Just need a sanity check fellas.

Maybe the cable got knocked out of adjustment?
Check the adjustment knob on the clutch cable, near the transmission end of the cable.
Does shifting seem any different than the usual?
Make sure you don't drive the car too much with the slipping clutch, otherwise that nice Centeforce clutch will get F-K3D up!

Shifiting feels about the same. I tried adjusting it a little and did not seem to help any. I am going to let someone take a look at it. This maybe a good reason to get the dual friction or the clutch masters. Im married, have to make a business case for everything cool.gif

I know about that making a case for everything...
I justified getting a limited slip for my integra by saying that when my clutch dies I'll install the new one myself and with the money saved on labor I'll buy a limited slip...

She sees right through it but it's fun smile.gif

It just won't die. Damn thing has 80,000 miles on it (and who knows what the previous owner did with it).
But, since I just got a limited slip it might "die" very soon...
Of course then I have to pick a nice clutch to put in there too...

It appears that my clutch is dead. Attempted to adjust it out as much as possible and it still slips under hard acceleration mad.gif. I guess this means I need to get the ACT or cluthmasters smile.gif. Ill keep you posted.

I too have the center force clutch which is not slipping but the rubber bushings are already gone and there is so much play in the trainy.

How long have you had your clutch? Which one do you have? I called Centerforce, and they are going to look into either fixing it or replacing it for free. They will also upgrade the disk to the dual friction for a disvcount.

i am sending my clutch back to Centerforce and have them upgrade my disk to the Dual Friction. Hopefully this one will last and have real springs instead of those rubber things.

its funny how a cheap pad at an autoparts stor has the springs but a centerforce has the rubber crap in it.
Everyone that has a centerforce have ur rubber springs been blown out yet?

I noticed that my centerforce has the springs. My stock clutch has the rubber bs. I should be getting mines back tomorrow. I upgraded to the dual friction.
