Damn, glad to hear your ok you're lucky. Imagine if you were in the rex. I think your air bag didn't go off because the 92 civics didn't have side impact sensors, because your airbag wouldn't do much, thats where side curtain bags comes in.

Sounds like you shouldn't have a license, mostly if this kind of stuff happens when you're SOBER. I'm just messin. It's a bad instinct to swurve or slam on the brakes for an animal, but it's something most people react the same to. I'm glad you're okay, you're extremely lucky.

chill out dude. not everyone thinks like that. He clearly stated he was ok and besides, almost only counts in horseshoes and hand-grenades. You either die or you dont, there is no inbetween . and by saying "I might be interested in some parts", it's just lettin him know that someone is interested in some parts, since he said he was gonna part it out. I respect what you are saying, but dont use part of a quote from someone who Isn't thinking what you say they are.
