So, I need to replace 'em. I was running the Illuminas, but since they're dead, I'm willing to change to another brand if recommended. Anybody have any preferences? Car will see mostly daily driving duty with occassional racing (little drag, some autoX)

Did you buy them new? I believe Tokico has a good warranty program. If you buy new ones, get KONI's, you'll never regret it.

I did buy them new, but the web site says their warranty is only good for a year. I supose if I'm feeling crafty, I could get more new ones, then warranty the old ones as the new ones. But I'd rather not be shady as hell about it.

Koni, eh? Can't seem to find any...

It says on the site that the shocks are warranted for life by the original purchaser with photocopied invoice. The electronic components, I supose from adjustable electronic suspensions, are 1 year. I have illuminas, and this made me wonder.

If the tokico warranty doesnt pull through, i suggest KYB-GR2's. They're good on street and ok at auto-x...and best of all, they're only $50 a piece and have a bitchin' lifetime warranty.

enjoy,

They are ok. They are definitely inexpensive. They won't warranty them if you lowered teh car though. Tokico may be the same. And they CAN tell...

Tokico claims it is void if on "Extremely lowered vehicles" or something like that. Yeah, no wiggleroom there. I guess it's a matter of whose opinion of how low is too low.
