85 SI for me too.. It marked the first year of the SI as well here in the US.. I like the recessed headlights on it too.. cool.gif

I would like a black and grey 85 CRX Si as my next car to get.. biggrin.gif

85's rock. They were the fastest, blowing thru the 1/4 mile in 11.2 seconds. And getting 82mpg. One hell of a supercar. I may be a little biased, but honsesty is my middle name. blink.gif

I voted 85Si because it is the highest performing model available in the United States, and was the only model with the whale tail spoiler and 14omph speedo (that year in the states anyways)

I actually like the 87Si more, because it is more agressive looking with wider bumpers and side skirting, not really feeling the buttons, and it came with a one colour paint scheme, because they just lookd damn hot all red or all black.

Cheers,
Mark

I voted '85 since that was the only year the 2-tone Si was available, stock. Also the lightest Si.

I am biased, too. I have 3 '85 Sis.

My son's black '86 Si is becoming 2-tone, black over grey.

We don't need no stinkin' 5mph bumpers, 3rd brake light, dead pedal, etc...

Fav. Yr Crx i'd have to say the '91 for its vast array of performance and styling parts, accessories, better motor and looks

But I own a '87dx Which I enjoy for its uniqueness, old school charm, lightweight body and none of that power'd [email protected] diff. other then being a clone in the import tuner market where anything below '92 is ancient

Gotta say, I love my 87. I don't like the recessed headlights as much as the flushmouts, though I really do like the 85 spoiler more than the 87.
Besides which, I like the "Dear Jesus!" bars on the doors the 86-87's have, unlike the 84-85's.

'85 all the way. Recessed headlights can't be beat, plus it's the lightest/quickest, has the best spoiler and the gray bottom on my Si is killer.

While a super clean 86-87 Si looks really hot.
The 85 Si started it all, has those sweet 80's-ish wheels, the 145 MPH speedo, and of course the recessed headlights.
It gets my stamp of approval.
