Thought I'd introduce myself, from Victoria, British Columbia Canada.  Not driving an early model Honda car, but do ride an early model 1985 Honda Goldwing Limited Edition GL1200 fuel injected 10 year anniversary edition.

Found this forum by looking for a throttle position sensor for my bike, and in doing  a search stumbled onto a thread about this very issue: Throttle Position Sensor Solution for 85-87 Crx or Civic SI.  My '85 GW has the same TPS fitted. - had to replace the original but had a spare, now I'm looking for another one.

I like perusing these forums as Honda used a lot of its early auto technology and parts for the fuel injected GWs of the '85 and '86 era.  Lots of parts are interchangeable, as well as the alternatives that have been found to replace the the OEM parts.

I also find the troubleshooting expertise on the auto forums can be directly applied to my '85 GW when I have an electrical or fuel injection issue.

I look forward to perusing this forum and learning from those who have and are posting.

Cheers

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.
