Ok so i took a look in my manual and it says to "adjust as necessary"........I know it needs to be adjusted but what is the best method? I just replaced the clutch and have alot of play in it.....like all the way to the floor play.

Did you replace the clutch or did someone else do the work for you?

Your just adjusting the free play on the cable.

How ive always done it is take the cable at the transmission pull up on it till it stops(the throw out bearing is on the pressure plate), then run the adjustment nut down most of the way, give it a little room so the throw out bearing can back off the pressure plate so its not always spinning, and you should be good to go.

Sorry to sort of steal the post, but I prefer using an existing topic rather than creating another one.

I'm actually having problems with my clutch. The gears get harder & harder to shift. Even after adjusting the cable with the nut in the engine compartment, after a few shifts, I have the same problem.

I've noticed the clutch pedal doesn't come back all the way to the top.

Do you know where the problem comes from? I've tried dismounting the clutch cable, but it doesn't seem like its damaged. So would that be the plate or something else? I don't think that's the oil because I've changed it last year...

Yes I know I tried that. But in the end, It comes back after a few pressures on the clutch pedal.
