I've got to get some known good injectors in there to test with... I'm still using factory CRX injectors. Back in the day I remember you said this was OK to do right?  It's so hard to tell if the injectors are firing in the right order... I have a noid light test kit, but it only has one noid light that works in Honda injector clips.  Short of making my own out of a small bulb and som wire, I guess I'll just have to trace each injector back to the ECU.... Unless you have a better method?

Unfortunately the easiest way to make sure you dont have any fuckups is to lay out your wiring diagrams/pinouts with another friend and go pin by pin on the ECU and test each one.  I had to do that when i could find the CKP, CYP mess up on mine.

Well, I did exactly what Devion suggested and pretty much diagnosed my entire harness.

After all this time, all these years of doubting myself and being lazy/unmotivated to work on this car..... All that was wrong was a crappy eBay OBD0 to OBD1 jumperharness that I bought.  Turns out the CYP and CKP sensor wires were swapped.  Once I de-pinned and re-pinned 4 wires, the car started and ran flawlessly.  I'll add an O2 sensor with an O2 isolator and start buttoning up everything else.

I actually drove the car around the block last night!!! :D

Well this car is back on the road and doing fine. I've logged about 150 miles on it and haven't had one issue yet. This motor is very very peppy! 1st and most of second gear is useless. LOL I just need to loom up the rest of the harness and get to painting the car. It's about 4 colors right now. Haha! I'll post some photos later.

Got a few goodies today. :)

Hood pins for my other 1 piece hood.  Hood's not painted, pins aren't mounted...

A new Braille battery to replace the one that died from sitting for so long.  (so stupid that I ordered it so soon...)

IMAG0717_zps1ecaee1f.jpg

Padding for my roll cage.  Some SFI 45.1 and some generic offset hole foam for the non critical areas.

Hope to have this thing at the track very very soon.  :D

Got work done today.

Began padding the roll cage.  Still not finished. Ran out of black ties, then ran out completely... Had to stop.  <_<

Oh, I also finally installed my cheddaj shifter bushing kit. WHAT a difference!  Now my no reach shifter feels GREAT!  It had so much slop in it before, I almost "money shifted" on a test drive.  Won't be missing a gear now.

Thanks for the bump bud!  Thought it would be fun to post on an old project thread.  This car is still alive and well.  Recently sold it to a good friend of mine.  (I still have 2 other CRXs) He plans to bring it back to life with some maintenance items and get it out on the road.  Reading back through these pages was like a trip back through time.  Good memories.
