I am leaning towards the Tenzo R Sinkos in a 15. But what is the largest diameter wheels that will fit on the 1G CRX? Is NE1 running a 16inch wheel or larger?

i have...but then again...i would immagine a 15" wheel would always be lighter than a 16" wheel if they were made by the same mfg. plus i didnt address the issue of wheel rub...you put 19's in your car...me ill stick with 15's

There are 3 goals when modding a car.
Cheap, Reliable, and Fast.
Now the down side. You only get to pick 2...
Fact: A recent study shows that 92% of all teenagers have turned Emo.
Put this in your sig if you're one of the 8% who stayed gangster as $h!t.

What are you looking to do?? Road race?? Drag?? A street car?? Well, I will tell you, as you have seen so far , that there are a few different views on this.. I personaly have 17's on my Civic Si.. They don't rub but I did roll the fender.. I'm no street racer, but I like the look of them.. If you want something performance oriented for road racing, 13's are the most common choice.. If you are looking for looks, that is in the eye of the beholder.. But with a little work and the right offset, 17's will fit with a 205 tire.. They aren't the best for a real race car but like I said, I don't street race .. In any case, what ever size will rub with the wrong offset..
My .02 cents...

Quite correct. Very light wheels get expensive. For looks, it doesn't matter.....get some Fox5's that are 24# each and get the look and very cheap $$. If you want to go fast, 13's are the way to go. I've got some 13x7 Circle Racing wheels on my racecar (6 of them) that are 9.2 pounds each. I'm upgrading brakes over the winter and going with 15x7 K1's that are 13.5# each at about $130 each. Oh, the Circles will be up for sale at $100 each with spent Hoosiers in 2 weeks

I had some 16inch wheels on my car and they looked good... for a street car but then I went one size down because I liked my new wheels better...
