When I drive and I get to 3500rpm the engine sqeeks, not when over 3500 or below.
Also its just when driving, I cant get to sound when standing still.

I guess its a worn out belt(?), but I think its a little strange that it just sounds at 3500rpm.

Any ideas??

If you think it's the belt,I'd take it off and try without just to see what happens.Sould be ok with no belt to test.

Belt or some bearing maybe. Like alternator or timingbelt tensioner?

I hope it's not metal-to-metal contact between the camshaft/cam journal due to an oiling problem.

Going to Hawaii? You need a Dune Buggy.

WTB: 14x8 or 9" Panasports or Watanabe RS.

WTB: 3g Civic hatch gauge cowl, brown.

In that case you might as well check the water pump too.

Over heating recently?

id check that water pump first anyway, i just had my water pump and timing belt changed and i had a similar noise before i had them changed laugh.gif

the mechanic told me that the noise was a combination of both but primarily the water pump sad.gif
