Just a few mins ago i got finnished flushing the front brakes with new Valvoline Synthetic brake fluid. The pedal was perfect and stiff before. Now its soft as shit like last time. I used my hand pump just like last time as well. I didnt do the back's yet too tired. With the engine off i can build pressure and make it feel normal but the second i start the car it goes back to the floor.

I dont know if my pump sucks ass and i just got a shit ton of air in the lines or what. Anytime ive tried to bleed/flush the brakes on this car its given me nothing but shit.

you've GOT TO start with the rear and then go to front. i do RR, LF, LR, RF. in that order. you can't just do the fronts due to the way the brake system works. the front and rear are tied together. this way if you lose the right rear brake line, you'll still have right front and left rear brakes.

I bleed them in the honda specified order 10oz(about one resivour worth) at each wheel, and its still the same. So i think the hand pump is sucking. Ill have to get somebody over and do it the old fasion way i guess.

Im so fuckin tired of the brakes on this car.

I've had problems when bleeding with vacuum pumps before, because sometimes they will draw air around the threads on the bleeder fitting instead of drawing air out of the lines.

I think thats whats happening, cuz im not getting steady fluid its just billions of bubbles and fluid, But it seemed to work ok last time, I ran 5 autox's and 4 months on it. Ill have to do it normal later tonight and see how it goes.

i like the gravity drain method if you are by yourself. just crack it open and let them drain for getting out the air bubbles.

i do this at the track all the time.

Is is possible that you are putting so much suction on the bleed screw that you are sucking air in around the thread of the screw that is then exiting through the middle of the screw with the fluid? I'd try the gravity feed or getting a friend to help with following the procedure in the FSM.

Edit: just read to post you were replying too. So just count this as a +1 to syko_tek1's post now. And E-AT_me is right, wifes are good for helping with this, I use mine for this all the time.

Yea i always put like 25 vacuums(cant rember the extension). So its eazly possible its just sucking air from who knows where. Its pulling fluid out but i dont think its pulling air out. Or it could be possibly letting air back in.

Friends comming over tomorrow to help. I just dont trust gravity bleeding, im sure it works, just doesnt make me feel safe.
