I have seen a yard pick up a car with one of those flat bed tow trucks. They just dragged it up onto the back with a winch. See if you can find a yard that has one of those flat bed trucks.

When I junked my donor integra, it was sitting on the ground on the front.
My car already had the rear disc when I bought it so I left that on the car.
They just hooked up the front and dragged it up on the flatbed. If it doesnt have rear wheels they will prbably still do it, but you should let them know ahead of time it doesnt have wheels so they will need a flatbed. Prepare for the car to gouge up your garage floor / driveway though...
In most cases you need the title for the car for them to come pick it up.
Scrap yards in you area will pay by the pound for scrap steel, so if you can get the car there yourself you might get some cash back out of it.

i had a teg taken away that was just a chassis with no suspension at all.
we set the chassis on a set of rollers and dragged it onto the flatbed with a winch.
as previously stated, make sure you have the title. just let the tow place know to send a flatbed

is the tow away free in these cases?
Recyling is not the answer. Using less to begin with is.

post it up for sale on craigslist...for like 100.00-50.00 salvage yards will buy the car. And as previously stated note there are no wheels on the car.

around here the biggest yard will buy junk car for $25 and remove them if they have a cat and motor. it's always nice to sell it then have to pay for removal. good luck.
if i only had a brain, and knew how to use it, i might just be dangerous

25 bucks??? lol I got 235 bucks for my parts 86dx when I took it to the junkyard. Scrap metal was about 8.00 per hundred pounds, I just threw some old junk in it and let it ride. They are about 9 miles down the road. Not sure how much I would have got out of the car if they had to come pick it up.

I got 80.00 a cat when i took two of them in and sold them. I just sold my 89 civic the other day for 150.00 but i just wanted it gone. There are some areas where the salvage yards make you pay them to haul off your car....Now I think that is a load of crap. call around to the scrap places and ask what scrap is going for a ton. then if your car has a motor and tranny in it figure about 150 each for those if they are good. My 89 civic ran and drove this is the one i totaled back in June. So when they started low balling me I just reminded them that they are getting a good engine (worth 150.00) and tranny (worth 150), the cat worth about (40-50), and the car scrap would pull an easy 50 stripped...So my 150.00 price was fair. a local salvage responded paid the 150.00 and they hauled it off.

Yep, I bet they make a killing off the people with the "get it out of my yard" approach. I bought that 1986dx RUNNING with no problems for 50 bucks. The paint was faded thats it. The guy said yea my son does not drive it much and does not care about it anymore. come get it out of my yard and 50 bucks and its yours.
Lol one hour later I was on the way home with a signed title in the passenger seat of a 1986dx.
Its all about knowing whatcha got.

I know someone with a rollback who will get it if you live in north GA around gainseville.
He hauled off several hulls for me after I stripped them. with or without a title.

I hate it how they come across as they are providing you a service in hauling off your car....But then again I guess that is how we get parts cars......

Yes. Even w/o wheels or suspension...however, expect to pay them. I spent $100 cash for a parted out 'teg to be haul out of my garage. It was worth every penny not to have to deal w/the disposal of the p.o.s. and to have it gone the same day I called.
