Okay so to start off decided to go with a more simpler swap in the 86 since the f20b was too big for the engine bay. its was a stock Dx hatch with 230,000 miles on it no rust no dents and decent interior. Now for my swap i have a JDM B20B motor with B20z intake manifold and S1 tranny, i have a simplified home made OBD0 harness, Innovative mounts, Raxle, complete integra suspension,Custom shif linkages, Gsr seats,255 walboro fuel pump.
The Body is painted Flat Black right now.

So far the engine is already installed along with the whole suspension assembled and its running Great, right now im working on the interior and preping the body for paint, pics will be up soon

Well, Lilneedle was in Florida (really close to Tampa too, just south of Clearwater) and had a matt black 86 Civic, not heard from him since 2007. So if you've had it a year it could be his old car and may already have history on this site.

This site is where he had a collections of pictures of it. Maybe you will find some details that match yours.

Oh and welcome.. If you have any questions about the OEM workings of the B20Z I may be able to help... :)

OK, didn't know you painted it. We try to keep track of the cars even when the members vanish. You can see why hearing you are in Tampa with a flat black 86 Civic brings his car to mind though.

Innovative allows a/c and raxles are better because they aren't made just for hasport mounts they are guranteed to work with both mount brands
