sorry to bother everyone if its already posted.. but when i buy the si cylinder head for my 86 crx hf, what else do i need to use to make it run right.. and is there a certain year head that i have to get? and any usefull info on this topic would be greatly appreciated

you would need a non cvcc carb and intake. or youd have to modify the cvcc manifold flange to bypass the cvcc. youd need an electric fuel pump too, theres no cam lobe for the pump. some fuel line, wiring for the pump, and new gaskets are the only other things i can think of.

What carbs are non-cvcc? (What's that stand for? Sorry- newbie here). If I have the DX manifold, Si block/heads, and HF carb, what will I need to do to make this all work? Thanks, Mark W.

cvcc = compound vortex controlled combustion

non-cvcc carbs include zc carbs (rare), canadian dx carbs, and i believe older accord carbs are non-cvcc

what about aftermarket carbs.. like a weber.

yes, a 32/34 downdraft carb would fit nicely.

BTW i have a nice holley fuel set up i could sell ya.

How would I bypass the CVCC flange? Mark W.
