I'm looking to host a meet again this year. In previous years I've hosted one its been around Oct with a local race. Well, this year there is not Oct race here, but there is Sept 20-21 and Nov 1-2. Based on feed back I've received Nov 1st-2nd are the dates. Remember, my meets normally involve racing, you don't have to race your car, you can ride in mine or other peoples if they are OK with it.

Also note: Even if not racing your car you need to pre-register at least a week before the meet. Security is tight at the race site so they screen names on the registered list and if there is a problem you will be notified ASAP.

OK. Poll as of July 14th stood at Sept 20-21 at 3 votes and Nov 1st-2nd at 7. So the meet will be Nov 1st - 2nd. People will be welcome to arrive on Friday Oct 31st.

Registration for the event is now closed. You must be registered or have DoD decals and ID to access the event, even if not racing. There is a "spectator" class if not racing so we have your name on the list for screening and you don't mess up the estimated driver counts.

Keep Calm and Brake Hard Autox at Cherry Point (Nov 1st)
Conestitutional Amendment at Foxtrot Autox (Nov 2nd)

For those not wanting to camp in the yard I suggest the local Holiday Inn Express. It is only a few blocks from my house and many of the other racers will be staying there. I'm sure the NCR-SCCA reserves a block maybe with a discount, so make sure to mention SCCA, NCR-SCCA, auto-x or something to that affect while booking. Cots in the garage work (bring your own cot).

I will tentatively add my name to the list.  My car is torn down at the moment and I'm trying to source all the necessary bits to swap it over to be fuel injected and also weld up spots where rust has eaten holes in the floor.  I have no preference on either date, but it gives me something to work towards to get my car on the road/track.

I'll try and make it. I always regret missing the past ones.

If I can I'll try to make it down, but I'll be in a fit my crx is torn apart.

Fits are ok, my little sister got one.

So one vote so far, not counting mine. You can select both dates if either works for you.

This is still the date I'm aiming to have my car finished by.

I wouldn't mind taking a drive down, as long as I can have my car finished by then

I voted for Nov 1-2, since I have a local autocross on Sept 21.

Personally I like the idea of the Nov one, since I don't mind people arriving on Friday it still would be partly in Oct.... Also, camping is normally a little more comfortable in Nov here than Sept.

I voted for Nov 1st bc I have a wedding to go to the 20th.

Other than that me and rex are ready.

Kid being born on the 20th of oct so sept would have to be it. And without the crx unforunately unless I can get it up to VA and road worthy before the meet or get time to go down to fla and get it road worthy either way I'll try my best even if it's in nov I might do one day down there
