Does anyone have a source where i can actually get new door/ window moldings? You know the ones on the top of the door that seals the outside of the window, that the rubber comes off and they rust and look like garbage? I can't find em' anywhere. Thanks.

Welcome aboard!

You don't need to buy new moldings. Do a search on this site for imformation on how to remove the plastic and paint the moldings. The moldings will look better than new when you are done!

If you really want new moldings try Majestic Honda. Good prices and fast shipping. I've spent 100's at that site.

I don't believe they are available anymore. Best is to find a decent set and restore them (or restore the ones you got). I believe majestic no longer has them, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, the old crack off and paint method was my next option... I suppose I will go that route. Some nice new ones with actual rubber still on them would be nice, but we can't always get everything we want!! Thanks guys!

If you are prepared to pay the price for a new one I may still be able to get them from Honda here in Canada. I shipped one in the summer to Houston, TX. I fits into a 3"x48" tube and shipped via UPS comes to the grand total of $140.00 USD. Cost breaks down at about $105 for the molding, $10 for the tube and the balance in shipping. Let me know if you are interested. JS
