Fantastic effort mate!

I'm amazed that so many IDENTICAL 3rd gens turned up in enthusiast circles in the UK at the same time. Weird, but in a good way.

It's great to see these cars being restored, particularly with the exemplary attention to detail that you are demonstrating. The more I drive mine, the more I love it. They are wonderful little cars; basic yes, but marvellously practical and useable as a daily driver. I'm getting 46mpg average and a lot of thumbs-ups!

Cheers Jimbo, i have loved the 3rd gen for ages but could never find one. Strange how now they are becoming quite popular and there is more than i thought being built/restored.
 
More work on the carb set up guys!
 
Manifold fitted with adaptors to feed the vacuum advanced dizzy, they will also be used to balance the carbs.

Heres the balnce chamber to give the dizzy a balanced vacuum feed.

Cracked on today and got quite a bit done!

Fitted:
Flywheel
New clutch
Gearbox
Shifter linkage
Engine in the bay 
Carbs mocked up
New Brake master cylinder
Brake lines back on.

Got a universal mishimoto rad and fitted it, unfortunately didnt get picks of it fully fitted yet. Also finished my exhaust system.
