I have a B18a1 longblock with a few missing bit, that I would like to trade for a FI EW.
Here is the motor, I have pictures if you are interested;
http://www.carolinah...lock-300-a.html
What I would like in order of preference
- Wagon block motor setup with 12v head, I know it's a long shot
- Modded EW series motor
- Stock EW with good trans
- EW parts, cam header and IM, then I can get my own block
- Or just shoot me any thing you might think fits
Thanks,
Geoffrey Adams

I need these a swap going into my 79' Civic. If you have a set lying around please shoot me a PM and we can try and work something out.
Also, if you have some calipers and could give the OD measurement of the bearing contact surface I would greatly appreciate it.
Cheers,
Geoffrey Adams

Fs: 24mm Sway Away Torsion Bars
09 February 2010 - 06:17 PM
I don't have a car to put these on so I guess they're going up for sale!
They are Sway Away brand torsion bars. Early on when Upgrade Motoring's torsion bars didn't have all the length problems they have now, they were built by Sway Away, so no problems there. They have no pitting or gouges in the splines and no rust on the bars. They had a light bit of grease on them when they were installed hence the good condition. They have not been re-indexed as you can see in the pictures, so you can grind them yourself if you want to go real low.
Also the number at the end says 2500, which I thought might meant 25mm bars. But they measure out to 24mm with my calipers which seems correct since Upgrade Motoring and Heel Toe Automotive sell 24mm torsion bars.
The asking price is $125 + shipping OBO. Considering they sell new for $285 this is a pretty good deal I think.

Fs: Web Cams 148-40 Regrind Cam
07 February 2010 - 08:56 PM
Just came into this cam today, but really have no use for it.
It's a Web Camshafts mild regrind cam. This is the description from their website;
"Very broad power range with good idle for stock fuel injected engines."
Lift: .394/.412
Duration:242°/252°
Duration at .050": 226°/232°
http://www.webcamsha...cle_search.html
No scratches, damage, or silly stuff like that. Just a ready to bolt in and go cam.
These are $220 if you order one from Web, so get yours for $90 + shipping
I'm going to list it on Ebay (for more than it is listed here!) after I finish this ad, so if you want it just shoot me a PM and I'll let you know if it's still available.
