Yes it is Scott's car but that picture is from the 06 JCC show but the others are from the 07 show. I find it amazing they didn't put a pic of the Muger crx in that pic lineup, it was there.

Being in the background of another car, does that count as a magazine apperance? I was parked next to that trick CF-bodied N600 at this year's JCCS so I expect to see my car cowering behind it in a bunch of photos. {sigh} Always a bride's maid, never a bride.
Damn! I am still waiting for my Honda Tuning subscription to arrive. Maybe the Mailman is a Honda fan.
And damn that Mr. D and Wolf for having such clean CRXs. Let me throw in Julian and his cars. And all of the 'tegs that show up to JCCS are minty fresh too. Damn them to Hell. Why don't cars with "patina" get any respect?

Your car is not cowering behind it it is the back drop, like taking a picture of your car with the ocean as the backdrop to make your car look more appealing. This is the same thing rite?

I'm so with you there Scott.
Actually, we have an Autosalon event in Perth mid year, and we are thinking of putting some of the local crx club cars in on a race theme. They will all have been on the track too - we'll have drag time slips and elapsed time slips as part of the display. So there should be some good 'patina' because it'll be a working car presentation, not show car. No offence meant to the cars above either - its great to be able to do both, but not everyone wants to.
None of the club cars will get even close to a prize - the gens1's are too old for a start - but it will be really good to go into a show car event with cars that show real world 'patina'.

Just because I painted my car doesn't mean it is without its battle scars...look a little closer next time I have cracking door caps and side skirts, a melt mark on my interior driver door from a shop light, scratches on my fender from a tire tread on the freeway, dents, grinding drivers side axle, flat-spotted wheels, an inoperable sunroof (currently stuck propped up on one side only), paint chips, 3000 rpm cold idle.....I feel the same pain you all do, and have just as much fun driving my car.

i take offense to statement made
that white gen1 teg pictured, is daily driven everywhere, the front bumper is chipping paint off like crazy.
heck i drove it 400 miles one way just to show it with everyone at jccs
