#580744 3rd Gen Civic's 1.5s Vs Si Suspension
Posted by Azzy on 24 April 2022 - 05:59 PM in 3G Civic
thx, im indeed looking for 195/50/15's
My buddy has a set of wheels that are the exact same numbers as the secondhand set im looking at rn, so will be testfitting his tommorow. Thought I'd ask about the suspension, but yeah as far as I knew it also mostly was just stuff making it a stiffer ride. So more a cornering thing, so will definetly be testing it in some long fast corners.
#580742 3rd Gen Civic's 1.5s Vs Si Suspension

Hello, im thinking about putting some wider and bigger wheels under my third gen and found somewhere in these forums this info: http://www.redpepper...hl=+wheel +sizefrom CRXer87hf'er that found what tire sizes the different models came with.
Now my 1984 1.5S comes with 13 inch rims and I'm thinking of sizing them up to 15's, seeing that the 1.6i Si models already came with 15 inches, they should fit in the wheel well quite alright, but I'm wondering about suspension differences that might be between the models and if that could lead to rubbing or something or that I’ll should be fine on the stock suspension of my 1.5S.
Any advice is welcome, thx in advance.

#580466 Will A Crx Muffler Fit Under A 3rd Gen Civic?

Thx for the comment, but I'm a broke college kid who got his hands on a pretty mint 3rd gen civic.I would just go to a local shop and have them weld in a new muffler if yours is shot. Probably find it’s less expensive and they can exactly replicate what you have. Stay away from big chain muffler shops, local ones often the best price and many of these guys are amazing.
I blew up the original muffler because the previous owner had run the carburator way too rich. So in need of replacement but wanting to spice it up a little bit. Found a reasonably priced second hand Remus exhaust for a 2nd gen crx which looks like it will fit. So probably going to try that out and report back my findings.

Hello,
apart from the exhaust flange connecting it, it looks about the same design even with the mount points. Does anybody have any experience with it?

edit: seems like i might've put it under the wrong category, saw the pinned rear light posts, so thought it belonged , but can't delete it, so here it is
