#323847 Degreeing Camshaft

are these the specs your looking for
Our most popular grinds for the 12V SOHC Honda's are known as the "TRI FLOW".
The principal behind the design is to open the intake valves progressively.
We find opening both valves at the same time causes more bottom end loss than necessary.
By opening one valve first allows the fuel to travel across the chamber at a greater velocity and then helps pull in the second charge.
These profiles also help cut down on overlap and work great in Turbo's and N.O.S.
applications.
STAGE 1 - PRIM INT 270° .384 LIFT
SEC INT 260° .384 LIFT
EX 274° .402 LIFT
Best all around wake up grind works with F.I. as well. No mods are required.
Power band is 2800 - 6500 R.P.M. approximately.
The cost for this one is $175.00 Canadian or $ 140.00 US
Customer supplies cam core.
STAGE 2 - PRIM INT 280° .392 LIFT
SEC INT 268° .383 LIFT
EX 288° .394 LIFT
Recommended for carburetor engine. However, it will work on F.I. with a noticeable idle
and possibly a slight surge. Strong mid range. No mods are required
Power band is 3500 - 7500 R.P.M.
The cost for this one is $225.00 Canadian or $180.00 US.
Customer supplies cam core.
STAGE 3 - PRIM INT 292° .413 LIFT
SEC. INT 272° .402 LIFT
EX. 302° .428 LIFT
Carb. only. Race Only.
The power band is from 4500 + R.P.M.
The cost for this one is $325.00 Canadian or $260.00

heres one for you
> The Lone Ranger was ambushed and captured by an enemy Indian war
> party.
>
> The Indian Chief proclaims, "So, you are the great Lone Ranger.
> In honor of the Harvest Festival, you will be executed in three
> days.
> But, before I kill you, I will grant you three requests.
>
> What is your first request?"
>
> The Lone Ranger responds, "I'd like to speak to my horse."
>
> The Chief nods and Silver is brought before the Lone Ranger,
> who whispers in Silver's ear, and the horse gallops away.
>
> Later that evening, Silver returns with a beautiful blonde woman on
> his back.
>
> As the Indian Chief watches, the blonde enters the Lone Ranger's
> Tent

>
> The next morning the Indian Chief admits he's impressed. "You

> days.
> What is your second request?"
>
> The Lone Ranger again asks to speak to his horse. Silver is brought

>
> "What is your last request?"
>
> The Lone Ranger responds,"I'd like to speak to my

QUOTE
but you should be able to run with it completely blocked.  I don't know how this affects the breathablility of the head with the squish and quench zones and all that stuff
you should'nt block of the cvcc port. it is its owe little cumbustion chamber. it delivers fuel stright to the spark plug. witch is in a little tunnel in the cumbustion chamber. that being the reason i would want to check the color of your spark plug. i know a wide band o2 sensor is an acurate way to check your exshault gases. but by checking the spark plug you would know if your getting a good burn in the cvcc chamber to burn the fuel in the cyclinder . i am runing primary idle 70 aircorretor 170 emulusion tube f50 main 155 secondary idle 60 air corrector 160 emulusion tube f50 main 140 but this is with a si head and pistion at an elevation of 8500 ft so i would think that maybe your running a little lean on the main jets also if your looking for jets look on ebay type in weber jets or look up alfa 1750 he is over seas but the price is right it take a while to get them but he did me right also you might want to look at your primary and secondary ilde jets the see if they are the same or different sizes. if they are your primary will be a little bit bigger and is for a ict but he lists that in his auction

#293668 Holley 5200/weber 32/36 Setup...

Posted by vaughan on 19 September 2006 - 08:46 PM in Carbs

i had the same setup on mine before i went with the si head. and i have a couple questions two. maybe omegan can help with. this is what i ran into may spark plugs color was white with just the redline adapter plate. i cut the cvcc port. and it started smoken bad. i thougt maybe something got through and took out a ring or something. i tore i down and decoverd it was just burning off all the excess carbon from running rich. so im think i had to run it really rich to get enough fuel in the cyclinder to get to the spark plug for combuston. that is why i recomended opening up the cvcc port. but the question being how can you really properly tune a dx head.my guess would be th read the spark plug color and a gas annilizer. simply because you have fuel going to the spark plug and fuel going to the cyclinder. and just from my experence just because the plug is white didn't mean i was running lean. just something ive wondered about

have you cut your intake manifold so the cvcc port is getting more fuel
